EVANSVILLE STAMP CLUB 2023 CACHET CONTEST

The Evansville Stamp Club, in conjunction with Central High School Art Department, is holding a Cachet Contest. The theme of the contest is Evansville History. Art students will compete for cash prizes and the winners will be announced during the third week of September.

The students will learn about cachets, the artwork on souvenir envelopes. They will also learn about the history and importance of the creative and artistic value of postage stamps.

The cachets will be displayed at the Evansville Stamp Club’s 91st Stamp Show on October 21 and 22 at Reed Auction Barn, 10233 Hwy 662 in Newburgh.
